I spent way more than I care to talk about on this set of dice at Pax East. They’re carved from amethyst so they’re heavy and absolutely stunning from every angle. I don’t even know if I can bring myself to actually play with them.

Hello everyone!

Do you feel Spring? In Poland it’s still quite cold, maybe Spring is a bit shy and needs some invitation… so today I want to show you beautiful Kanzashi Dice Flowers by Mountain Musings. Maegan makes really lovely hair accessories with dice. She combines the beauty and softness of Kanzashi Flowers and the awesomeness of dice. Her works are really beautiful and unique, I haven’t seen anything like that anywhere else.

Be sure to check her store out! https://www.etsy.com/shop/MountainMusings

LOVE THESE!

Waited for over 3 hours to see Acquisitions Inc. have a live D&D Next session, wound up with GREAT seats directly behind the VIP rows! It was an amazing show, a few fans even recognized me and my SO who was dressed as Jim Darkmagic!! We got to meet Jerry (Omin) after the show and shake his hand!

Acquisitions inc is the whole reason I got into D&D in the first place, listening to their podcasts helped me understand the game and see how fun and awesome it can be!

Aeofel Lives!!

I did a very quick test run of my Aeofel cosplay for Pax East today!! I’m very happy with it, it’s very comfortable! I’m still debating on whether or not to do big WOW Elf eyebrows.

Deku Link Sculpture by Gimmeswords
This fan-created sculpture is brilliant and so unique! One of my favorite things about Majora’s Mask was the little flowercopters and Gimmeswords has brought them to life in a spectacular way!
I WANT ONE!

This is the new Zelda Twilight Princess statue from First 4 Figures that I pre-ordered instantly!! I’ve waited so long for this, I’m a huge fan of First 4 Figures and own a few of their earlier statues!

If you’d like to add Princess Zelda herself to your collection you can pre-order the statue here

Wicked Wear: Majora’s Mask Leggings

You’ll never meet a terrible fate when you’re wearing Legend of Zelda inspired gear especially these leggings ($55 AUD) from Living Dead Clothing. The Happy Mask Salesman would definitely approve of these colorful Termina classics.

I’ve never pulled out my credit card so fast!!!

Working like mad on my Aeofel cosplay for Pax East in 10 days!! HE LIIIIIVES!! Just started work on my boyfriend’s Jim Darkmagic cosplay tonight. This is going to be a photo finish.

And of course I’ve been in such a frenzy I’ve been eating nothing but junk so here’s hoping I actually fit into my costume!!

Quick Edit: The gem for the pendant came from: Shoujo Gems! I didn’t feel like buying everything I need to cast resin just for one gem. Shoujo Gems sent me a fantastic gem asap!

Celebrating my Birthday today the right way. Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to me! Watchin’ some hot Elf sex! Happy birthday to me!And many more…

I think the bottom line as to why people don’t like 4e, or why people hate any edition other than there own is because they are different. It’s like trying to compare Monopoly to Risk. You might as well compare 3e to GURPS. Yet we never get into debates about why GURPS is for real nerds and why 3e is for true dorks. Don’t fret so much over the rules of a game you don’t even play.

I hate 4e only because the goddamn healing surges. I spent 50g that I barely scraped together to buy a healing potion for when I’m in trouble, but if I don’t have a spare healing surge it is completely useless. If I come out of a battle critically injured it takes almost half of my healing surges to restore myself to full, so if I have to fight more than two battles in one day I’m probably going to die.

you people have absolutely no critical thinking skills
one is a disrespectful, extremely inaccurate and highly romanticized and steteotyped ‘interpretation’ of native american imagery, appropriated to serve as a novel, kitschy piece of native culture that for white people to consume and use as they please, while actual native americans are having their culture, languages and land stolen from them.
the other is a fictional comic book character, playing a fictional race of peoples, that is loosely based on norse myth. without Idris playing that role, the entire population of asgard would have been as pale as the driven snow. this is a film meant for a modern, global audience but you want less PoC in it? and if you’re going to argue that it would have been ‘historically accurate’ for all norse gods to be white then you can go throw yourself into a pile of horse shit because the idea that anything in the Thor movies or comics is ‘historically accurate’ is extremely ludicrous.
so you can all stop with the inane comparisons now and go back to eating your mayo and crackers or whatever it is white people do when they’re not screwing over other races.

You people have absolutely no critical thinking critical thinking skills.
One is a disrespectful, extremely inaccurate and highly romanticized ‘interpretation’ of a norse god, appropriated to serve as a novel, kitschy piece of norse culture for Pickers of Cotton to use as entertainment as they please while northern europeans are having their culture, nations and women raped by immigrants.
The other is a costume made for children to wear on halloween that is loosely based on old American Indian clothing.
So you can stop with the inane complaining now and go back to eating fried chicken and watermelon or whatever it is black people do when they’re not sponging off of the achievements of other races.

Don’t you love it when racists prove your point for you and look like absolutely the most deplorable kind of human trash while doing so?

So….whatever happened to “be whatever you want to be?” This cultural hypersensitivity isn’t doing us any favors. It’s just about as fair to tell a child “Sorry, honey, you can’t be Pocahontas for Halloween because you’re white.” as it is to tell a child “Sorry, honey, you can’t be the Flash for Halloween because you’re black.” BOTH of these statements are wrong, we should not be restricting our children based on their skin color. It’s this kind of bullshit mentality that leads us to “well, black people can’t play white characters!” and vice versa. I see this shit come up in the cosplay community ALL THE TIME. If you are white you can’t cosplay a character with skin that is any darker than your own. If you’re pasty-ass white then that’s too bad, check your privilege. If you get a tan in preparation for your cosplay you are a racist shitlord because getting a tan is essentially black-facing. If you are black you can’t cosplay any white characters because you “don’t fit the character”. Even if you fit the character in every other way, even if your costume is flawless, and even if you’ve nailed every pose, people are going to bash you online because you “should have chosen a character that looks more like you.”If a child (or a cosplayer for that matter!) wants to dress up as a character that doesn’t quite fit their race, that does NOT mean they are doing it out of intolerance, cultural appropriation, or because they feel the character should be white-washed. It’s because they fucking like the character! Do you want to be a pro-active parent and teach your child some motherfucking tolerance and understanding? GOOD - if they’re interested in dressing up as a character outside of their culture take that as an opportunity to teach them more about the culture of the character they’re exploring. Shaming kids away from other cultures and keeping them ignorant is how we get kids who say “It’s a terrorist!” to a woman in a hijab. I think it’s great that Idris Elba played Heimdall in Thor. I think his character was absolutely amazing and the design was beyond gorgeous. I hate that we can suspend our belief enough to allow magical rainbow bridges and space elves to exist but the second we put a black guy in the role of a Norse god the whole universe collapses. MAGICAL RAINBOW BRIDGE = YESBLACK GUY = NOThe comic world is starting to modernize itself and it’s been adding more people of color, as well as people of different sexualities, because they realize their current audience includes a mixture of many races, genders, and sexualities. It’s not just white kids reading comic books anymore like it was circa 1950. I welcome this modernization on screen because there still is a problem with not only white-washing in Hollywood, but flat-out omitting people of color in leading roles.
